4. Type 5
5. Press RETURN to finish the transformation
That will move your object five units on the X-axis. You can also use
negative values by typing -5 to go in the opposite direction.
With the scale, you have to use a factor to control object sizes. For
instance, a factor of 1 means 100% of the object size. If you want to
increase the size by 50%, use a factor of 1.5 for the scale. To reduce the
size by 30%, use 0.7 as a factor.
The sequence to increase the size in 50% would be:
1. Select an object
2. Press the S key to start a scaling transformation
3. Type 1.5
4. Press RETURN to finish the transformation
Notice how we did not constrain the scale to any axis in the sequence,
but you could also press a key corresponding to an axis after the S key.
Tip: You can use either the Sidebar of your 3D Viewport or the Object
Properties tab at the Properties Editor to change those values. But,
editing with keyboard shortcuts will be much faster.
2.3 Undoing and Redoing in Blender
How to undo a transformation in Blender? Like most softwares, we also
have an Undo option in Blender, which you can use with the CTRL+Z
